Fun little contraption

Note: the bird feeder currently listed on this page is not the one I reviewed, but it was previously on this page so I have to review it here.

This is a nice clear plastic bird feeder with quality suction cups to attach to your window. Fun for humans and pets like to watch birds feeding. It’s a good size with a bottom trap for the food. The bottom trap comes out easily to clean or refill without having to remove the whole feeder. This is a wonderful simple option for folks who want to watch their birds. Especially nice for an apartment dweller who didn’t have space in the yard for a full feeder. We do have space, but some of our sparrows and chickadees are brave and will be happy to feed by the window!

The feeder I am reviewing is a clear acrylic one with four suction cups and no camera. This seller uses the product page for multiple products, but this clear one is now listed as "beige"(?), and I must review the version I received here to comply with the Vine program.

The feeder is overall good quality. The suction cups have not yet failed, although it is dry and summer. I'm curious to see how they will last through the wet fall and cold winter, being attached directly to the window. The feeder comes in two pieces, one being a removable tray. This is nice as you can pick up the tray to replace or refill the birdseed. We have mostly little sparrow-type birds and the feeder holds up well with their weight. I have not seen a larger bird or (luckily) a squirrel attempt to get on the feeder, so unsure how the suction cups would hold up to heavier entities.

The cats enjoy watching the birds through the clear acrylic.

Great bird feeder for those who love brids! It’s so fun to be able to see them up close and to have recordings of their interactions. All of the different features are really nice. I do run into some connectivity issues at time where I can’t connect to the feeder with my phone. One major issue is that the cord that connects the solar panel to the feeder isn’t protected, so if squirrels visit your feeder (which they will), they will chew on it. They chewed my cord completely in half. Thankfully I knew someone who could fix it, otherwise I’d be stuck with a feeder that can’t charge. Overall highly recommended, just protect/cover the solar panel cord and be patient with loading times/connection issues.

Updated from 1 star to 4 due to the fantastic customer service I received! My feeder was replaced and I see that the lid on my replacement closes much tighter than the original. I think that will help with longevity!

I received this for mother’s day 2025, and it has completely died. First, it stopped sending any video to the app, and now it won’t take a charge at all. I loved it while it lasted, but it didn’t last very long at all.
